Doug Hollingshead

Doug was born in Newark, Ohio in 1961 and graduated from Newark Senior High School. He attended The Ohio State University and majored in Criminology.

Doug is currently the President and COO of Commercial Works, Inc. headquartered in Columbus, Ohio Commercial Works, Inc. was established in 1973 and is a diverse service organization that specializes in offering commercial relocation, installation, furniture, design, space planning and many other corporate real estate related activates to all sizes of business. It has operating facilities in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio as well as Indianapolis Ind., Louisville Ky. and Charlotte & Raleigh NC.

Doug began his working career with Commercial Works, Inc. (previously Commercial Movers) in 1985 after graduating from Ohio State University. His initial responsibilities were as an account clerk and warehouse foreman. At the time Commercial Works (Movers) was simply offering only commercial relocation services in Columbus, Ohio. In 1987 he was promoted to assistant manager of the Columbus operations. In 1989 he was promoted to VP of Operations and was empowered to begin opening and overseeing Commercial Movers, Inc. operations in other cities. In 2000, he was promoted to the position of President and COO with overall responsibility of the entire organization for all aspects of its business model. Currently, Commercial Works, Inc. employees over 365 full time associates combined in the seven different cities that it operates in.

Doug resides in Powell, Ohio with his family. He has been married for 20 years to Mary Kimberly Hollingshead. He has two children a daughter Samantha 15 and a son Luke who is 11. He is active in coaching his sons youth travel baseball team as well as an avid sports fan and music fan. He is an active member in the Columbus, Ohio Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and in many other local and professional organizations including a being founding member and current board member of the “Office Movers Association Worldwide” (OMAWW)
