Commercial Works, Inc. (CWI), a leader in workplace solutions, commercial relocations and mid-market furniture lines, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Operations Manager.  This full-time position is located at our Charlotte, NC office.

The individual will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the transportation operations department.  This will include the day to day operations of dispatching trucks and managing labor crews, as well as maintaining the truck fleet.      

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in managing large labor forces, preferably in the office moving or installation field.  Applicants must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and must be willing to manage a work schedule that is driven by the demands of the client, which includes evening and weekend hours.    

The position requires that you be authorized to work in the United States and have your own transportation with a valid, in-force driver’s license and legal levels of vehicle insurance. In addition, an acceptable background history, MVR and negative drug screen.
